They hire the one that has made an effort with their appearance because it means they CARE. If you dress smart, it informs the hiring manager you have high standards, which is essential in any workplace.

Before you attend the interview, research the company you are applying for. Look at their website ABOUT US page, find out about their products and services, and look into their history. This information will allow you to give an excellent answer to the questions, why do you want to work for us, and what do you know about our company?

During your job interview, you must use positive words and phrases that describe you in a way the hiring manager will find appealing. The eight best words and phrases to use in a job interview are:

Have three good questions ready to ask at the end of your interview. If you don’t ask any questions, which is what most candidates do, it is a missed chance to show the hiring manager you genuinely want to do an excellent job for their company. Here are three intelligent questions to ask at the end of your interview:

1. Can you tell me more about the team I would be a part of in the role?
2. What advice would you give to the successful candidate who wants to excel in the position?
3. What are the plans for the company in the next 5-10 years?
